1977 Honda CB550

Ground up Honda build.

This bike was built for Claud from the ground up.

Starting with a complete engine rebuild, the engine was painted after its full rebuild and engine fins polished. The next step was to redesign the tank starting with a custom metallic paint job, and then designing new decals similar to the stock design but with a twist. Changing the colours and pin stripes. The honda badges were painted gloss black and the bikes frame was sand blasted and powder coated in a black textured finish to contrast with the shiny tank.

The bikes frame was modified and repaired as some one down the line had done some bad welds so all of that had to go so a new hoop was bent up and all welds cleaned up and re-welded. The bike was then fully rewired.

The bike had a custom stainless battery box made and hidden under the seat , the bikes wheels were sand blasted and powder coated in a Saturn black, new tyres fitted along with all new wheel bearings and seals. Up front new handle bars, gauges , headlight and indicators were fitted.

And the final step of the build was to design and make a new stainless steel exhaust system with built in baffles. The bike was now complete and ready to head home to Victoria to it’s new home.
